Almarin has supplied and installed a LED sector light to signal the entrance to the Port of Sóller (Mallorca) upon request from the Balearic Port Authority. It is a single LED sector light, located in the previous beacon, which replaces the two original leading lights.

Almarin has carried out the dismantling of the previous marine light and the assembly and alignment of the new sector light. The company has also withdrawn the old daytime markings and supplied new ones of its own, made of stainless steel and dimensioned in accordance with IALA recommendations. The new LED sector flashlight, model VLS46, was programmed in this case only for night operation. With a range of about 13 NM, it has enough range to overcome the Cape of Gros, although the client requested that the intensity be reduced to comply with the provisions of the 'lighthouse book'.
