Lagos Marina expansion kicks off

Marlagos celebrates the start of the Lagos Marina expansion with the driving of the first pile. Almarin will carry out the installation of 120 piles under the coordination of Lindley, selected for the supply and installation of the new floating structures, including mooring piles. This project will improve operational efficiency and strengthen the capacity of this flagship marina in the Algarve.

The collaboration between Almarin and Lindley, both companies of the Lindley Group, combines technical expertise, in-house resources, and a high level of coordination at every stage of the project.

Improvement of the pile-driving tower

For pile-driving works, Almarin has its own pile-driving tower. To ensure maximum efficiency and safety, enhancements have been made to the tower, including sandblasting, structural repairs, repainting, and measures aimed at increasing the safety of both the machine and personnel. Another major improvement is the increased automation of the machine, allowing control directly from its main cabin.

Almarin offers a comprehensive pile-driving service using its own pile-driving tower, considered one of the most powerful on the market. This equipment allows the installation of metal piles in a wide range of geological conditions, from sandy and clay soils to natural and volcanic rock, ensuring precise and safe results across all types of seabeds.
