Almarin supplies marine aids to navigation to Port of Marín (Spain)

Its hull is made of polyethylene foam covered with 12mm wall thickness pigmented elastomer leather.

Almarin has recently supplied and installed six Guia buoys for the Port Authority of Marín and Ría de Pontevedra. The navigation buoys, four port side and two starboard side, measure 3m in diameter and 4m in focal plane. Its hull is made of polyethylene foam covered with 12mm wall thickness pigmented elastomer leather. Its manufacturing process ensures a practically unsinkable hull: a thermo-laminated core with long strips of closed-cell polyethylene foam on a central steel tube.

Also, these products have a cat ladder and a protection ring to facilitate access and replacement of the light beacon. Almarin has also delivered three autonomous compact flashlights with a nominal range of 5MN. In addition, the buoys have an Echomax radar reflector. This manufacturer is gaining worldwide recognition for its products and is the supplier of choice for NATO and Trinity House.
