Marine aids to navigation at the new Mindelo Cruise Terminal

Lindley supplied Almarin's navigational aids equipment to the Mindelo Cruise Terminal on the island of São Vicente in Cape Verde. The initiative included the supply of two navigation buoys from the Guia range (G2400T and G2200T), both with more than 3 meters of focal plane, ALT7 onshore beacons and its respective lanterns, one of them with AIS, contributing to the safety and efficiency of maritime operations at the new Cruise Terminal, completed in 2024.

The innovative stainless steel structure of Almarin's Guia buoys gives the buoy optimal daytime visibility, while offering maximum safety in maintenance tasks. Its hull is unsinkable due to the closed-cell polyethylene foam and polyurethane elastomer coating. The tail is made of galvanized steel, with thick profiles and iron counterweights that give it robustness and stability.
