New marking in Guadalquivir River, in Seville (Spain)

In the Doñana park, three beacons have been operated on, two of them are part of leading B and the third is a high-precision sector light "PEL" located at beacon number 8.

Almarin has been awarded the tender issued by the Seville Port Authority to supply and install the new marking for the Broa de Sanlúcar and the Puntalete section of the Ría de Guadalquivir, in the vicinity of the Doñana National Park. The company has removed and replaced the eleven steel buoys from the Broa de Sanlúcar with others made of elastomer. Four new buoys have been installed in the Puntalete section of the Ría del Guadalquivir to reinforce the curved section of Punta de los Cepillos and the Puntalete area. The new aids to navigation system consists of eleven Guia elastomer buoys, model G3000T, and four Balizamar B1600S rotomoulded polyethylene buoys. The eleven navigation buoys of the Broa de Sanlúcar include an AIS system that allows them to be viewed on electronic charts from the boats.

In the Doñana park, three beacons have been operated on, two of them are part of leading B and the third is a high-precision sector light "PEL" located at beacon number 8. The lights on leading B have a stationary intensity of 400,000 candelas, thus ensuring its daytime visibility, which represents a significant improvement over previous equipment. The three onshore beacons are equipped with GSM monitoring to remotely know their status.
