The City Council of Cazalegas, a town located about 70 km from Toledo, opens a new dock in its reservoir located at the foot of the Sierra de San Vicente. The nautical infrastructure, supplied and installed by Almarin, is part of a rehabilitation plan for the area, which includes other improvements such as the implementation of wooden walkways on land, bike lanes, parks, among others. This new jetty, which replaces an old one, is used for water sports such as windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, canoeing, among others. This natural enclave, also used as a bathing area, aims to take advantage of the riverside area and promote inland tourism.

The wooden dock, from the Doc-Kit range, has been the chosen solution since it integrates perfectly into the landscape, in contrast to the plastic floating modular dock. In addition, it is a lightweight structure that is easy to assemble and requires little lifting means. Manufactured with a modular system, it allows to expand the installation in a simple way, as well as to adapt the solution to rising water levels. The jetty measures a total of 36 meters in length, made up of six meter modules with their respective joints, and 2.20 meters wide, in addition to having an access walkway and a mooring system. It is an ecological jetty, made of Nordic pine wood and with polystyrene floats, totally recyclable.

Almarin collaborates with the manufacturer Lindley, a company specialized in the creation of recreational spaces, floating solutions in marinas and marinas in Spain.

From Lindley Group we build piers to open new leisure spaces in natural locations. The piers are made of materials that adapt to their environment, either with a wooden structure in a quieter setting or with a metal structure designed for more demanding conditions, such as one designed for boarding passengers.
