Docapesca – Portos e Lotas, SA awarded Lindley the contract for the design, manufacturing, and installation of a floating pier to support artisanal fishing at the Vila Praia de Âncora Port in the municipality of Caminha, Viana do Castelo. The work was completed at the end of April. This project, explained by Docapesca, aims to improve safety conditions for people, vessels, and goods during mooring, docking, and loading and unloading of materials and fish.

The new infrastructure, consisting of two reinforced concrete elements from the PFC3020H14 range, has dimensions of 40×3m, is anchored by a chain system connected to reinforced concrete mooring buoys, and is equipped with elastomer fenders to protect the vessels, as well as emergency and safety equipment. Access to the floating pier is through an access platform measuring 6×2.5m with guardrails and an access bridge measuring 20×1.5m.

From Lindley Group we build piers to open new leisure spaces in natural locations. The piers are made of materials that adapt to their environment, either with a wooden structure in a quieter setting or with a metal structure designed for more demanding conditions, such as one designed for boarding passengers.
