Almarin has recently installed two marine beacons equipped with corresponding radar reflector and self contained 3NM lights in the Port of Santa Cruz de la Palma, Canary Islands. These beacons, with a 3,5m focal plane, designed and manufactured in house, are the smallest of the standard ALT series and are manufactured from hot dipgalvanized steel and painted according to IALA recommendations. Almarin can manufacture to meet requirements, from basic poles to larger beacons over 20m high, adjusting the customer needs with innovative and customized solutions.

In collaboration with other companies from Grupo Lindley, Almarin has carried out several emblematic projects such as the beaconing of the Exterior Port Gijón (Spain) in 2011 and esthetically pleasing solutions such as the beacon in Horta (Azores) maritime front in 2012. This beacon was made under petition of the Port Authority of the Azores to meet a double function: mark the leading line of the port entrance and blend with the design of the seafront surroundings. Following these requirements, Almarin designed this structure in corten steel, visible only as an AtoN when observed from the port entrance.

From Lindley Group we build piers to open new leisure spaces in natural locations. The piers are made of materials that adapt to their environment, either with a wooden structure in a quieter setting or with a metal structure designed for more demanding conditions, such as one designed for boarding passengers.
