Almarin welcomes participants of the 'IALA Model Course 1.3 – On the Use of the IALA Risk Management Tools'

As part of the official program of 'IALA Model Course 1.3 – On the Use of the IALA Risk Management Tools' course held from 23 to 26 June 2025 at the Portuguese Navy Hydrographic Institute, Almarin had the pleasure of welcoming the participants to the Lindley facilities in Cascais (Portugal).

The course was organized by the IALA (International Organization for Marine Aids to Navigation), the leading global authority in the field of marine aids to navigation.

During the technical visit, attendees had the opportunity to learn first-hand about some of the main solutions that Almarin, in collaboration with Lindley, offers in the field of marine aids to navigation — including various EVO modular buoys and a 7-metre-high onshore beacon.

This initiative reinforces our commitment to international best practices and to providing technical support to Port and Maritime Authorities in the implementation of effective and long-lasting marine beaconing systems.
