Almarin offers the recycling service of marine lanterns to the Port Authorities

The company extends the useful life of the product and, if this is not possible, ends its life cycle responsibly

Almarin, in its commitment to the environment, offers a free * recycling service of marine lanterns for all Port Authorities in Spain. Customers can send to Almarin, based in Barcelona, ??the maritime signal lights supplied by the company that do not work (regardless of their warranty status) for Almarin to take care of evaluating and, if necessary, recycling them. Almarin obtained the ISO 14001: 2004 environmental certification in 2011.

The company conducts a review of the autonomous lanterns to determine their status: if the product is unusable, it is transferred to a waste management and treatment center in Barcelona; on the other hand, if lantern recovery is feasible, Almarin makes a lantern recovery report and budget. With this process, the company extends the useful life of the product and, if this is not possible, ends its life cycle responsibly.
