New marking in the channels of Ria de Aveiro

Lindley, through the construction company ETERMAR, has renewed two channels of Ria de Aveiro, supplying a total of 135 maritime beacons. This project, promoted by Polis Litoral Ria de Aveiro, includes actions on the navigable part of the Ílhavo canal from A25 bridge to the Água Fria bridge and our canals in the central area, Cale de Espinheiro and Carreira de Aveiro/Cale do Parrachil and from A25 bridge to Vagueira bridge.

Being a delta of the Vouga river, therefore, with shallow waters, yet subject to significant level variations, the adopted solution contemplates the use of floating elements (buoys) and fixed structures (metal pile driving into the bottom). They incorporate a superior brand, radar reflector and maritime lantern. Lindley did the work of manufacturing, sourcing, pile driving with a floating platform and installation. "This marking from the Ria will serve to indicate the lateral limits of the navigable canals, being of vital importance for the safety of navigators", according to the entity.
